Glass canopies
A glass canopy is a light, almost invisible cover over an entrance, door, balcony or shopfront. It protects against rain and snow without hiding the facade or blocking the light – which is why it increasingly replaces heavy sheet-metal or polycarbonate structures.
Hardware for glass canopies with tension rods and brackets
INTERFIT supplies complete glass canopy hardware: single and double rotules, stainless steel tension rods (including adjustable, made-to-measure rods), rosettes, anchors for installation through the insulation layer and ready-made canopy brackets painted in RAL 9005, 7016 or 9016. They allow single- or multi-panel canopies with glass 10–21.52 mm thick and a projection of up to 1600 mm.
Durable materials and installation on insulated facades
Tension rod hardware is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, resistant to outdoor conditions. IF.KTW anchors 270, 330 and 450 mm long allow installation through 100, 150 and 200 mm insulation without thermal bridges. For every item we provide data sheets with glass drilling details and assembly drawings in PDF and DWG, which make design, glass ordering and installation easier.
We supply glass canopy hardware to Warsaw, Kraków and the whole of Poland and help select hardware for a specific entrance – the maximum panel size must be confirmed by structural calculations.
