General information
A watertight shower enclosure starts with a good seal. At INTERFIT we have more than 40 shower seal profiles – for conventional and sliding enclosures, for glass from 6 to 13.52 mm. It is one of our biggest strengths: whatever the enclosure design, angle between panels or hardware, we will find a seal that keeps the water where it belongs.
We offer top-quality silicone seals. They do not absorb water, so they keep their shape and tightness even in humidity and changing temperatures. They are anti-adhesive, so dirt does not stick to them easily and the enclosure is easy to keep clean.
Shower seals – full choice
We have all the main types of shower seals and solutions for non-standard enclosures:
- push-on – fitted to the glass edge, at the wall and between panels
- between hinges – seal the gap between the leaf and the panel at the hinges
- bubble seals – a flexible bubble presses against the glass or wall
- drip seals – on the bottom edge of the door, keep water in the shower tray; also with a tear-off fin for height adjustment
- magnetic – for 90°, 135° and 180° angles, and with flexible magnet wings for 90–180°
- for sliding systems – for sliding doors, including adhesive seals with tear-off fin segments
- adhesive – bonded directly to the glass, also in a magnetic version
- low-profile – versions with a shallower profile, also magnetic
A magnetic seal is the best way to close shower doors precisely and protect the floor from water. Selected profiles are available not only clear but also in black and smoked black – for enclosures with black hardware. For magnetic seals we also offer fixing profiles in chrome and matt black.
Choosing a seal for shower doors
Choosing the right seal is as important as choosing the glass hardware. Our advisers in Warsaw and Kraków will help you choose the profile – just give us the glass thickness, the type of hinges or system and the angle between the panels. Data sheets with cross-sections of all seals are in the Technical details tab.
Remember that even the best seals wear over time – regular replacement keeps the enclosure watertight and clean.
